Holly Richards
BA(Hons) Interior Design
At the start of my final year at University I undertook a personal SWOT analysis to see how my skills have improved during the last two years. This helped me to recognise my strengths but also understand what my weaknesses are as a designer. I feel that it is important to undertake a SWOT as it allows you to constantly develop your skill set and gain more confidence in a variety of areas.
I took the velocity graph I did and the 24 set criteria and marked myself against each of these. In my SWOT analysis I wrote a statement for each criteria explaining how I intend to develop each area further. From this I created a prioritised professional development plan from which I then prioritised each statement into 3 specific categories which were;
- 3 Months
- 6 Months
- 9 Months
